Our MissionThe Fanning Group, Inc. strives to provide association management and financial services of the highest quality and professionalism to clients. We are committed to employee education, certification, and membership in professional organizations, such as the American and New England Societies of Association Executives. We are also committed to acquiring technology and staff that are devoted to quality and customer service.
Company ProfileAlthough the Fanning Group, Inc. was a start-up company in late 1998, the owner and principal, Deborah M. Fanning, had previously been employed as an association management professional for 34 years at another association management company. In 1981, she was the first female association executive in New England to earn the designation "Certified Association Executive" (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives. Other staff members at FGI have long-term association management experience. Each member of our executive staff has more than 15 years of such experience. Therefore, if clients need additional activities performed, we are flexible enough to offer such services with little advance notice and without impacting services already provided. Executive and administrative employees of FGI belong to the American and New England Societies of Association Executives. These organizations provide education and networking opportunities for FGI employees to continually hone their management skills and to keep up with the latest technology in association management. FGI's staff currently includes the following personnel: Deborah M. Fanning, CAE, Chief Executive of two associations Deborah S. Gustafson, Associate Director and Government Relations Specialist Debbie J. Munroe, Certification Program Specialist Sarah Skarinka, Membership Specialist Christie Welch, Support Specialist for all client associations Paul V. Fanning, Financial Specialist for our accounting clients.
